AdBlock Browser for Chromecast App Reviews

Was a great app. Loved it. After the upgrade this weekend, no longer works on iPhone 4. Too bad.

Edit: April 12, 2016. As of today the app is not blocking a single ad for me. It was working perfectly until today. I suspect something in the recent update screwed up the app. I am lowering my review score until this issue is fixed. Original review: Whats awesome about this app is that you get to try the ad blocker before you determine if its worth plucking down the full amount for. I watch a lot of anime and those sites tend to have a lot of ads, especially in mobile that inhibit the video playing. If you watch anime or visit *ahem* sites of questionable video content that feature a lot of ads then this app is for you. My only gripes are that I cant seem to find the bookmark page button anymore and the app if left open when you switch to other apps may return to your homepage instead of remaining on the site you were on before you switched.

This WAS a great app but suddenly it no longer works. Very sad.

I used to use this app all the time to stop the annoying ads but now it doesnt block them anymore. Not sure why if Im paying for an ad blocker? Definitely not worth it.

Like many others have said, this update might have ruined the whole "blocking ads" part. I was in disbelief when I came across an ad in the browser and thought it was just my phone until I saw that others have gotten the same problem. Please fix this as soon as possible. Thank you!

Newest update breaks all ad blocking. Last version seemed to block all ads on YouTube for example, but now I am once again forced to watch them. Either revert to previous version or choose the other good ad blocker available. Rumor is designer sold out so dont expect this app to ever be fixed. Such a shame...

It still doesnt work. Ads, pop ups, redirects, & commercials on every site I go to except for 1.

iPad Air Sites now automatically play videos when you go to them and if you push cancel you cant go on the site. wltx.com is one.

I used to watch some online videos and now after the most recent update I cant search on the sites any more. The link clicking has been weird before but at least it was working now its totally broken. Please fix!

This was my go to browser and I loved it. I updated it and now it no longer blocks ads. That is literally the reason why I bought the app: to block ads. It no longer does it. What is going on?

Used to love the app. Now I dont use it. FIX WHAT YOU BROKE!!!

I am not sure what happened with the last update but the Chromecast functionality is no longer functional. I use it to stream out of town news to our den TV. Since updating, I have to turn on the video player and it only plays one stream.

It stopped, even though I paid for it. They really need to get it together. They dont block ads anymore. Its needs an update.

Blocks nothing. It creates ads for apple survey. Total junk... Please DO NOT download..

Doesnt catch all ads, and there was an especially bad week or two recently, but the most recent upgrades have corrected that and added functionality to swipe forward and backward as you surf.

Adblock is successful at blocking the incessant pop up ads while Im trying to read at Arca Max. Havent seen an annoying ad that covers what Im trying to read since the latest fix. In-App email report makes it easy to eliminate new occurrences.

Its really sad what happened to this app. It was phenomenal and well worth the money. Now, it doesnt block ads, crashes constantly, and takes forever to load a page. I guess its time for me to move onto a better app.

After being harangued to update the app every time I opened it, I finally gave in and updated. Dont do what I did unless you dont want your ad-blocker to block ads anymore. Update - I emailed the app developer about this issue but did not receive a response.
